We enjoyed another session of our Elderquest movies in May, 2013, with Dr. Robert Yahnke, Professor Emeritus, University of Minnesota.

We viewed and discussed "The Station Agent", directed by Tom McCarthy, "Heaven", directed by Tom Tykver, and "Touching the Void", directed by Kevin Macdonald. The last film was a re-enacted documentary based on the book by Joe Simpson.

In 2012 we shared 2 films: "To Be and To Have", a French documentary about a teacher in a one-room schoolhouse in France, and "Poetry", a film about a woman whose son joined with other students repeatedly raping a fellow student, who then committed suicide

Mission: To provide quality and broad-based learning opportunities for the Lakes Area residents with emphasis on mature adults.
